There’s only one big gameplay change in accordance with airborne enemies. We will share updated maintenance times at a later date.

Previously, recovery times were set to 1 second after breaking walls and 0.7 seconds after enemy collisions.ĭue to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to delay today's release of Y5S2.3. After dashing through soft walls or colliding with an enemy, both instances now have a flat recovery time of 0.5 seconds. The final change to Oryx is his recovery time. To balance that, the time needed to recharge his dash has been increased from 8 seconds to 12 seconds. His Remah Dash into soft walls will no longer take away a charge on his ability.

Oryx will also see some ability changes to increase his pick rate and survivability. Increasing the number of cluster charges will hopefully allow players to be more liberal in their usage. They even hold an average of less than 2 cluster charges deployed per round. As explained in the designer notes for R6 Y5S2.3, they saw that Fuze players are a little conservative with cluster charges. The reasoning behind this is that developers found that Fuze players do not use cluster charges to their fullest. But despite the buffs to deployment, they added a 0.45 second delay before the parent Caltrops begin deploying the individual Caltrops, a huge buff.įuze will now have a total of 4 cluster charges from a previous 3. In addition to that, the random deployment variation range is reduced from 0.1 seconds to 0.05 seconds. Each Caltrop from the parent has its deployment time reduced from 0.7 seconds to 0.45 seconds. Deployment time for the parent Caltrop will be lowered from 13 seconds to 9 seconds. Gridlock will be experiencing a few buffs to her Caltrops. For console players, the update will also include the Y5S2.2 patch from the PC update on July 14. After making some changes to operators on R6 Test Server, Ubisoft is ready to patch them into the game. Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 5 Season 2.3 patch is going live this week.
